The Breguet 14 (or Breguet XIV) is a biplane designed in France and used during the First World War. It served as a reconnaissance plane or bomber. It was manufactured in a large number of copies during the war (more than 8,000 copies) and production continued well beyond 1918. Beyond its many missions during the war, it also remains famous for to have participated in the epic of Aéropostale in the hands of pilots such as Mermoz, Daurat, Saint-Exupéry and Guillaumet.
