The de Havilland Canada DHC-4 Caribou (known in the United States Army as the CV-2 and C-7 Caribou) is a Canadian-designed cargo aircraft specialized for short take-offs and landings (STOL). The Caribou began flying in 1958 and retired as a military aircraft, but a small number are still in use due to their sturdiness for "bush" flights. (sources Wikipedia)
