Fully Autonomous Logistics Droid (F.A.L.D)

A forklift inspired droid created in 7 hours as part of a impromptu character jam during my masters degree. modelled in Blender and Textured in Substance Painter. The requirements were simply: A sci fi creature or droid and a short paragraph of lore for the character. Lore: Developed by CCCU Inc in 2085, the Fully Automated Logistics Droid (F.A.L.D) was initially designed to aide industry workers in moving around and organising heavy equipment, supplies and other assets for various industries on earth. As humanity began to expand and colonise new planets, F.A.L.D units became very popular among colonists for their advanced AI, ruggedness and customisability that enabled F.A.L.Ds to adapt to any environment. CCCU Inc initially rejected offers from militaries to weaponize the platforms citing that “The F.A.L.D was intended to help create not destroy". However, some bad actors managed to procure some via the black market, in response, CCCU Inc is allegedly developing a combat variant.
