GOGO All Road R16

Tire R16: This asset is a 3D model mesh and textures of a tire 205/55 for an R16 wheel. These asset packages contain high-end FBX 3D model poly meshes of tires with custom hand made textures for desktop game development, virtual automotive customization, virtual visualization (VR), cinema and automotive design. It's not ready for mobile (but you can reduce the texture size and eventually the polycount). It includes displacement texture map for HDRP tessellation


Made by transportation car designer for designers. Includes 8K tire meshes (more quads than triangles), Unity standard PBR materials, 4K PBR and 8K HDRP hand made textures that include displacement for tessellation(with photorealism in mind). It is possible to convert them to Universal render pipeline


Tire type: this version is specific for All Road (off-road or on-road) customization small R16 cheaper wheels


You can scale them to a bigger Radial or make it wider to fit your wheel rim.


Since it is a hard surface game object, the model was created using the NURBS surface. The same technique of traditional industrial design workflow to allow the vertex normals (light reflection) to run smoothly and get the same feeling of the real object. Meshes made up from surface includes high detail vertex normals but do not include LOD. Three different types of meshes are provided.


WARNINGS
LOD level of detail for virtual 3D representation and performance optimizations are not included. These tires are designed for virtual 3D representation and are not accurate for real-life use and NURBS surfaces are not included.


INCLUDES

These FBX 3D tires models are standardized units meshes in meters. The 3D model is ready for production and can be scaled up to R 17 and R18 (not recomended). Very detail meshes used for desktop game development, cinema or the car automotive industry. PBR Metalness: include a set of color albedo, metallic, roughness, bump normal, displacement tesselletion texture map custom made simulating different rubber material finishing styles. Two sets are provided. One for PBR metalic and a second one for HDRP Tesseletion or Univeral material. Rendering is made inside Adobe Substance Painter.


MODEL

Includes 3 different tire 3D model shapes. Special high-quality meshes from around 8K poly geometry triangles with accurate vertex normals.

UV distribution

Where it was possible, the UV layout is made up so it's easy to apply fix textures. For the UV mapping, a custom spherical and cylindrical projection was used. Later was modify inside Ryzom UV Realspace. No overlapping UV layout. Substance Painter was used for making the correct material texture (using trilinear). Ambient occlusion was added to the color albedo texture for performance reasons (was mixed into the Albedo). It is possible to use the same albedo texture, changing (shifting) the albedo color in photoshop without losing detail. Try first to change the color in the inspector.


SCENE

“GOGO AllRoad R16 Tire” scene is intended for the inspection of the 3D model and eventual prefabs using the scene window and not in the “Play” mode. Since this particular game objects is complex, in this case, colliders (type: capsule) are not included.
