The Hughes H-4 Hercules is an oversized seaplane built in the United States in the mid-1940s. At 97.54 meters, it is the second largest aircraft in the world in terms of wingspan after the Stratolaunch (117 meters ), but it remains the first in terms of height. The Antonov 225 and the Airbus A380 surpass it in mass and length. It is also Hughes Aircraft's most famous aircraft. Almost entirely made of wood, it was baptized "Spruce Goose" by its critics ("L'oie en fir"), a term hated by Howard Hughes (sources Wikipedia)
