Asset Overview
The Hummer H2 is a large SUV that was produced by General Motors from 2002 to 2009. It was designed as a civilian version of the military Humvee (High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle) and was marketed as a rugged, off-road vehicle. The H2 featured a 6.0-liter V8 engine that produced up to 393 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque, and was available in both four-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations. It had a towing capacity of up to 8,200 pounds and could seat up to six passengers. The H2 was known for its distinctive styling, including its boxy shape, large grille, and wide stance. Despite its popularity, the H2 was criticized for its poor fuel economy and environmental impact, as well as its high cost and impracticality for everyday use. Production of the H2 ended in 2009 due to the economic recession and changing consumer preferences.
