Asset Overview

**Lamborghini Countach** The Lamborghini Countach was made as a reaction to the Lamborghini Jarama, which engineer Paolo Stanzani considered a mistake because it was too wise for Lamborghini. Paolo Stanzani then asked Marcello Gandini to design the most extravagant car possible1. The Lamborghini Countach is, along with the Ferrari 512 Berlinetta Boxer, the most important model on the sports car market of the 1970s. At the Geneva International Motor Show in March 1971, Lamborghini presented a concept study named "LP500". A mass production of the vehicle was not sensitive, but the study is popular, so much so that Lamborghini decides to produce and market a model resembling it. However, many details are changed. The 5-liter V12 engine of the LP500 prototype became in 1974, with the LP400, a 4-liter that was not to become famous. The name “LP” stands for “Longitudinale Posteriore” in reference to the position of the engine Blender 3.0 - By SDC - Rims realised by Lexyc16
