MCRN Hephaestus-Class Destroyer (Printable)

Note: This ship is fanart and not canon. This is the Hephaestus-Class destroyer. Build in the MCRN shipyard on Callisto, this vessel is designed as a versatile an powerful weapons platform. It has a turreted railgun and extremely favourable thrust-to-mass ratio, making it a very mobile, yet deadly ship, capable of outmaneuvering the slower and more cumbersome UNN warships. Furthermore, it is equipped with five small and three medium sized torpedo launchers as well as ten Nariman Dynamics 40mm Point Defence Cannons, to provide sufficient firepower at close and long ranges. It can carry shuttles and dropships in a small hangar bay and has a small complement of MMC marines, which are mostly used to defend the ship against boarding parties and rarely leave the ship. However, due to their similar capabilities, these ships can usually be found flying in formation with Scirocco-Class assault cruisers.
