Asset Overview
Mercedes-Benz W166 is a mid-size crossover of the German brand Mercedes-Benz, the third generation of the M-class. The premiere of the model took place at the 64th Frankfurt Motor Show. Production of the W166 is carried out, as before, at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Tuscaloosa (Alabama), USA.
In 2015, the car has undergone restyling. In addition, the M-class was renamed the GLE-class due to the revision of the nomenclature of the company's internal model hierarchy. In addition to a slight modernization of the exterior and interior of the car, the model range of engines has also undergone a change. So, for the first time in this series, the GLE 500e model with a hybrid power plant (petrol engine+electric motor; total power 442 hp) was presented. In addition, the output of AMG models has been increased.
