Sotong Class 50ft Coastal Research Vessel

Shallow-draft, flat-bottomed 50 foot coastal vessel perfect for the jell-o like water physics of Kerbin! This craft was created as a means to encourage Kerbals to partake in various aquatic activities, on NASA's suggestion that aquatic training are a big part of mission preparedness! So far, the Kerbals have used this jet powered boat for fishing, leisure crusing and inadverdent participation in air-sea rescue exercises because we realized too late gas guzzling jet engines don't make good boat engines... Thankfully, this ship is not meant to fly in space, so people can indeed hear you scream :) The ship shown is the same model used in esinohio's render of a pirate vessel hunting a Kraken.
