XB982 ASTROSHIP DISPLAY MODEL

THE INTRUDER XB982 FROM VALERIAN AND THE CITY OF A THOUSAND PLANETS (2017) WIDTH: 75 m LENGTH: 72 m HIGHT: 18 m This is my version of hard surface modeling, NO UV mapping for the details. every hull plate, greeble, vent, scratch and dent are meticulously meshed to the surface. and i mean *into* the surface! this whole complicated thing is ONE SHELL. A hermetically sealed one piece 3d printable STL model. Normally this leads to stupidly high poly counts, how ever i managed to keep the thing down to a 12 meg, 251,968 polygon STL file. This is a pretty darned accurate rendition of the CGI ship as seen in the movie, small liberties were taken in the name of the low poly Gods. the movie model obviously using huge UVs and surface detailing maps. I made this thing as a public domain project, so unless the movie owners eventual try and copyright the design, not easy as the design is quite closely based on the 50 year old French comic series. she should be free for use.
