This 3D model of the terrestrial, omnivorous crocodylomorph *Revueltosaurus callenderi* (PEFO 34561) from Upper Triassic Chinle Formation of Petrified Forest National Park (Arizona, US, North America) shows the primitive condition of temporal muscles being largely vertically oriented.
