3D model of “mystery circle” by pufferfish

Our research has revealed that a small puffer fish* Torquigener albomaculosus* with a total length of only 10 cm constructs a geometric circular structure "mystery circle" with a diameter of 2 m on the seabed ([Kawase, Ito, Okata 2013](https://www.nature.com/articles/srep02106?hc_location=ufi). We published 3D model of the mystery circle ([Kawase, Kitajima, Iwai 2022](https://www.nature.com/articles/s41597-022-01466-4)), and a total of six original models are available. One of the six models (K13, reduced from the original) is published here so that the general public can see the model and think about its characteristics.
