Asset Overview
Ammonites are extinct molluscs related to modern snails, squid and octopuses. This example, *Jeletzkytes nebrascensis*, is from the Maastrichtian (Late Cretaceous) era, so is between 66 and 72 million years old. It was found in South Dakota, USA.
