BB8

I'm starting a Force Awakens Project, here's the first piece to it. I had fun with this one. I went back to my Graphics Roots and made all of BB8's designs in Photoshop, then saved them as PNGs to use in 3D Coat as a Material, which basically let me stamp the designs on. The head was tricky because I wasn't able to use my designs without them getting distorted, so I had to go in and paint in the details myself. After all that was set up I went in and gave him some life with dirts and shines. More to come, can't wait to have the piece I'm doing fully done. *I do now own the rights to BB8, I'm doing this as a personal project for my portfolio*
