Bhairava (Maha Kala Bhairava) is a Shaivite deity worshiped by Hindus.
In Shaivism, he is a fierce manifestation of Shiva associated with annihilation. Bhairava means "terribly fearsome form". It is also known as one who destroys fear or one who is beyond fear.
