Boulder Brain Coral / Colpophyllia natans

A detail scan of a CNAT coral. Also known as Boulder Brain Coral or Colpophyllia natans. The area of live is about 100cm x 80cm. Around the live coral you can see some old mortality but there is also an area of disease on the top, most likely Stony Coral Tissure Loss Disease which will kill this very old coral colony in the next few weeks if not treated. 45 Photos taken in Roatan, Honduras with a 15mm fisheye lens, processed in Agisoft Metashape Standard.
