Asset Overview
Chape of a scabbard. The bronze chape is from the early iron age (Viking age) and is decorated with animal motifs in the Borre style. Found in a burial mound at the burial site Långängsbacken in Kastelholm, Sund. Dimensions are 5.4 x 4 cm (ID ÅM 386:136).
Doppsko till ett svärd. Doppskon av brons är från yngre järnåldern (vikingatid) och är dekorerad med djurornamentik i borrestil. Funnen i en grav på gravfältet Långängsbacken i Kastelholm, Sund. Måtten är 5,4 x 4 cm (ID ÅM 386:136)
