Asset Overview

**ChM CM434** - *Mesoplodon densirostris* Blainville's beaked whales are odontocete (toothed) whales with a very robust rostrum. They get their species epitaph, "densirostris", latin for "dense beak", from how robust the rostrum is. These animals have been well-documented in the Bahamas where they feed on fish and cephalopods.
