One partial skull associated with the remains of a new species of fossil whale from the Cross member of the middle Eocene Tupelo Bay Formation. The holotype consists of a partial cranium, complete petrosals and posterior processes of the tymapanics ear bones), the posterior ends of the nasals (nose), two premolars, and part of the right orbit (eye).
