Asset Overview
Three-dimensional reconstruction (3DR) of a jellyfish (*Solmissus* sp.) found off the coast of Oahu, Hawaii, USA at a depth of 503 meters during the Schmidt Ocean Institute's *[Designing the Future](https://schmidtocean.org/cruise/designing-the-future/)* cruise. The 3DR model was created by using MBARI's laser imaging instrument *DeepPIV*, which was deployed from RV *Falkor* mounted to ROV *SuBastian*. Raw video collected by ROV SuBastian can be viewed [here](https://youtu.be/rRE2HanakKM), and stabilized *DeepPIV* footage that was used to generate the 3DR model can be viewed [here](https://youtu.be/ylggUl4-f0s).
