Equus neogeus – tooth

This is a 3D laser scan of a molar tooth of *Equus neogeus*. The tooth was collected on 10th October 1833 by Charles Darwin from Paraná city, Argentina, and is between 29,000 and 14,000 years old. It is part of the Earth Sciences collection at the Natural History Museum, London. This has been scanned as part of the Museum’s Darwin Fossil Mammals digitisation project.
