Explorer Of New Worlds- Competition WIP-06

My sixth model I am uploading in regards to my entry for the competition: “Explorer of new worlds” (http://forum.humster3d.com/showthread.php?tid=76)... The sketch model for the Genie for my Aladdin's Lamp within the story. I have to confess that from day one I have chosen to be way over my head. I too wonder what it is going to evolve into. But I have to also confess that I am seriously enjoying every step of it (Not always the update bit. I don't always have the time to type it all down nor share it :( This model was completely influenced by a 3D model of the Cheshire Cat that I found whilst searching for inspiration for "Alice": http://www.123dapp.com/creature/Cheshire-Cat/3348522 It is a whole different discussion to how much use it may have but I have to admit that without seeing it I would not have some answers on both modeling out the Genie as well as colouring it.
