A fierce and powerful creature, Sobek was manifested not by Ra, but by the superstitions of the people of Kemet. He is more elemental than god, so he lacks communication skills and finesse, but he is just as feared and venerated as the rest of the pantheon. Taking the form of a monstrous crocodile, Sobek is the protector of the Nile and shares many traits with the river -- calm and facilitating, but sometimes cruel and unforgiving.
