Here are all four Jackal types in Halo 4. The skirmisher types are gone and replaced with the Ranger.
Rangers are trained for zero-g combat, and are equipped with spacesuits and magnetic boots. They are known to use Carbines, Storm Rifles, and Beam Rifles.
