Head of female *Dystacta alticeps* (Mantodea: Chroicopteridae) Imaged with [scAnt](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4694713/), controlled by a Raspberry Pi and modified to house a RPi HQ cam with a Nikon EL-Nikkor 50mm 1:2.8 lens, mounted in reverse on a [Nikon RPi HQ cam adapter](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4364692). 10,206 single photos. Focus-stacked to 126 images with [Zerene Stacker](https://www.zerenesystems.com/) (PMax). Brightness and contrast adjusted in [Fiji](https://imagej.net/software/fiji/). Reconstructed in [Meshroom](https://alicevision.org/#meshroom) with standard Meshroom settings except FeatureExtraction: Describer Types = 'sift' + 'akaze', and Texturing: Texture Downscale = '1'. Decimated to 30% of original triangles and smoothed (20 iter., factor 0.15) in [Blender](https://www.blender.org/). Original colours were lost due to alcohol storage of the specimen.
