Horse

Here at Europac3D we were recently tasked to see if it is possible to #3dscan a #horse, with the end goal of reproducing a miniature bronze statue. We set about the task using #Artec Leo handheld 3d scanner because it is extremely protable and therefore enabled us to easily take the scanner to a local farm where one of our staff owns a horse. The Leo scanner also has a built in screen in the back of the scanner in order that you can easily view the data you are capturing on the fly. In addition a built in battery also means that the scanner does not have to be tethered to a mains electricity supply. After a couple attempts we managed to scan all the way around in roughly 1 minute and the results were impressive to say the least.
