A simple low poly rigged and textured 3D model of of the Junonia Lemonias-The Lemon Pansy butterfly. The lemon pansy is a very active butterfly and can be seen basking with its wings open facing the sun. It's distinct feature help it camouflage into the surrounding.
Its color shift slightly between dull and vivid during different season.
This rig comes compatible with Maya 2018, with controller and is capable of perform complex movement like the actual animal as shown.
Guide to empty movement from the maya file:
Open Maya Outliner and select all controller curve, then delete its key within the timeframe.
Go to the Animation Layer on the bottom right of the screen, and delete “BakedResults”
You may now use the controller to implement your own animation. Have fun!
