At the time when I made this enemy sprite, and put it in the game, it was not even rigged. I used Edit Poly modifiers in 3ds Max to give it this stop motion feel in animation. I rendered the chatacter sprites in eight different directions with perspective cameras in 3ds Max. This was done to emulate the perspective of a real 3D game camera.
