(2016) Le Rêve 3D
This is a tribute to the famous Spanish Cubism artist Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) and his Fauvism painting Le Rêve (the Dream, 1932), portraying his then 22-year-old mistress Marie-Thérèse Walter (1909-1977).
Realized the organic feminine form in 3D out of abstract 2D shapes, I attempted to add life with a subtle breathing animation, and let her dreams a starry night, away from erotic / phallic fantasies.
