Asset Overview

A human vs. mammal comparative osteology scene for the left humerus using surface scans of actual bones. Opossum, otter, cat, dog, deer, pig and human were downloaded from the [OsteoID](https://boneidentification.com/) dropbox ([under additional resources](https://boneidentification.com/additional-resources/)). Smoothing and decimation were applied to optimize them for online display. The opossum, otter, cat, and deer humeri are mirrors of the originally provided right humeri. See the OsteoID website linked above for more details and photos of additional species. The bear humerus was downloaded from the [Mammoth Site of Hot Springs, SD, Inc](https://skfb.ly/6TIqL) who made the model available under a [Creative Commons Attribution license](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). Original model was decimated for online display. Models were arranged and animated in Blender. FBX can be opened in Blender to access and export individual model files--export as STL for 3D printing.
