Lowpoly Spartan Character

# Welcome to Tartarus! The Spartan is a mysterious soldier the was cast down into Tartarus where he was imprisioned for a lifetime. He is now on a a mission to escape the pits of hell and be reunited with his comrades on the surface. This is a character for a mock game called The Spartan, a beat em up game where you play as an unnamed spartan hero who fights his way out of Tartarus beating ancient greek monsters and coming face to face with greek heroes. The games art style would try to replicate a hand painted water color style. My brief was to create an original character I was restricted to 2500 tris, and one 1024x texture map. I chose a spartan based character because it is out of my usual realm, I prefer to stick to fantasy so I wanted to challenge myself, I also wanted to learn how to model a basic human so the spartan outfit allowed me to focus more on human anatomy.
