Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade - Sonic (1993)

This is my very first 3D model on SketchFab, it is of the 1993-1997 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Sonic The Hedgehog Balloon. A bit of background and context, on Nov. 25, 1993, Sonic the Hedgehog made his debut as a balloon at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. Interestingly enough, this would mark Sonic as the very first video game character to be in the Macy's Parade. Unfourtunetly however his flight would be cut short due to an acciedent involving the balloon and a lampost being torn down and injuring 2 people (Luckily both survived :)) The balloon would continue being used for a few more years until being retired in 1997 and being replaced with a new, much safer version in 2011 sporting his modern design. I always wanted to make this into a 3D Model for a while now as the balloon uses his more unique western design that I'm pretty fond of. Model was made using Paint 3D in under approximately 4 hours 17 minutes. Feel free to use in projects or 3D printing but please do give credit
