Male Elephant Seal Skull

I went hiking at Año Nuevo State Park yesterday and stopped into the nature center on my way back to the car. In one of the center's plexiglass cases were two elephant seal skulls - a male and a female - and I took 43 photos of the larger of the two (the male) with my iPhone. It's not the finest model, but I think that it gives a fairly good idea of elephant seal skull morphology. Elephant seals are at Año Nuevo year-round,although the seal population makeup changes throughout the course of the year.
