Likely one of a number of carvigns made in the 00s. This carvings can be classed as modern. A carving set into a frame on a rectangular granite block. The stone was broken and repeaired in modern history. No information on a possible origin for the stone. The carving has a similar pose, and ribs to the Urglin or Rutland carving (CW007-166) which is located in Co. Carlow, but the head is similar to the Kilshane or Lavely carvings. .
As the stone is quite silm, and considering the chamfered edges, it is possible that this is a replica using a number of carvings as inspiration.
