A few days dead and its coat is showing it. The green is paint that the Marine Mammal Alliance - the local powers that-be - use to mark dead seals indicating that they have seen it and taken the data they need to take. And now it is left for nature to do its thing. I'm pretty sure the bottle is somebodies idea of a joke. :)
