I decided to have a go at making a human face that will work in a game engine at the request of alanallday79.
Using makehuman to get a good basemesh, morphing it as much as possible and then imported to blender to really hone the face to the reference images. The likeness to Stirling Moss is subjective but im happy with it.
I found texuring to be the biggest struggle. Its not too bad getting the hang of making realistic skin and hair procedurally, but baking them to game ready textures means doing your retopo and uv mapping properly (I didn't). So i ended up doing 2k hand painted textures.
Added a second itteration using image textures, gonna keep updating it as I improve my skills, hopefully will look realistic and more game ready after a few more.
