Scelidotherium leptocephalum - back of skull

This is a 3D laser scan of the back of the skull, part of the holotype skeleton of *Scelidotherium leptocephalum*. It was collected on 1st September 1833 at Punta Alta in Argentina by Charles Darwin and is between 129,000 and 11,700 years old. It is part of the Earth Sciences collection at the Natural History Museum, London. This has been scanned as part of the Museum’s Darwin Fossil Mammals digitisation project.
