Asset Overview
Teaching model from the late 19th century depicting Spider. The model was used as a tactile teaching model in the biology and naturalhistory lessons at the Royal Institute for the Blind in Copenhagen during the second half of the 19th century. The model was handcarved in wood by the danish blind pedagogue L.A. Guldberg in the 1860's.
