Asset Overview

Striped skunk skull. The striped skunk (Mephitis mephitis) is found throughout most of North America, northern Mexico and some southern parts of Canada. They are commonly found in forested areas, though when foraging, one can find them in backyards scavaging for food. Known for their nauseating musk due to their enlarged anal scent glands, skunk spray can travel as far as 10 feet and is used when the animal feels frightened or in danger.
