*D. maculatus* is the second largest living carnivorous marsupial, second only to its relative, the Tasmianian Devil. This Austrailian dasyuromorphan is also known as the native cat, or marsupial cat. It has brown spotted fur, like its fellow quolls, and lives up to 6 years.
