Asset Overview
**This bounty hunting robot is out for the kill!**
I started with a sketch in Quill VR, then modeled with Medium by Adobe and Maya. Textured with substance Painter. it was really fun experimenting with VR tools in a more professional workflow, I highly suggest for those of you with VR to definitly try it out!
In the end the big take aways are to know what each program is better at, and leverage that to be the most efficient with time. The best example I can think of in this case are repetitive parts like the cylindrical joints, where I only made them in maya because I knew I could make them cleaner in there. Likewise figuring out how to get the torso to have organic curves could have been done in maya, but it was easier to iterate with sculpting in VR. This project was super fun and I think I’m going to do more with this kind of style!
