Odontapsis is a genus of sand shark with two extant species. These sharks live along the seafloor in temperate and tropical ocean environments across the globe and can reach lengths of 3 to 4 meters. Odontapsis lacks posterior crushing teeth, which separates them from another similar shark genus Carcharias. This specimen is one of two teeth. Scanned with the David SLS-2
