Creature concept of a Wendigo - Completed as a student project.
Here are the steps I undertook as part of the project:

To retopologise I used topogun, which was awesome and fast.
Once the UV's were laid out on my low res mesh I took the model to substance painter to get the skin definition and various maps.
Texture size: 2048 x 2048
Made him nice and spooky in time for halloween!
