This file represents my attempt at the [Model A Wheel exercise](http://bit.ly/1YgjEpD) that is part of CGCookie's [Modelling with Modifiers course](http://bit.ly/1Ljz5Z0).
The spokes and rim are separate objects, since they required different modifiers. Thus, the wheel is made of four mesh objects:
* The Tire uses screw and mirror modifiers. (It started out with a subsurf mod, too, but I needed to apply that to make the generated face normals align properly).
* The Rim has screw, array, and subsurf modifiers. (It's the subsurf mod and the angle of the spokes that required me to separate the spokes and the rim.)
* The Spokes have array and bevel modifiers.
* The Treads have lattice, mirror, bevel, and array modifiers.
If you download the blend file, the four mesh objects are on layer 1, the lattice and empties necessary to make the mods work are on layer 6, a composite car wheel object with all mods applied is on layer 10, and the lights and camera are on layer 20.
