DashGear Pocket is a concept for an OpenSource handheld based on the Raspberry Pi or another open source System on a Chip. The DashGear Pocket is intended to be an updated clone of the Gameboy Pocket.
The specs are there is a rechargable battery, with USB-C recharging on the buttom. Power toggle on the left hand side, volume dial on the right hand side. The top has a Micro-SD card slot with a cover for the system on the left and an audio jack on the right. The screen is a 640 x 480 monochrome screen.
The face has a D-pad, start and select buttons. And the A and B buttons are organized in the X-input layout so that A is on the bottom. The back contains a spring loaded SD card slot. The idea is that anyone can create their own ames by saving a program onto the SD card in a specific format. Then they can print out art for the SD card and use it in there device.
