I have faced situations when the cables coming from the adapters were damaged because the extension outlet was overturned or turned to a side due to heavy weight of adapters. This bracket was created specifiacally to stabilize the position of the outlet on the floor, electrical sockets facing up. There are two holes if you plan to mount it on the floor / wall / table.
