Odd Rock 01: 02 Automated Mesh

###Summary: I had the great opportunity to participate in a demonstration of the FARO Edge ScanArm and have results from several Toronto finds. Find a photo of the rock here: https://flic.kr/p/DFCkzt ###FARO Edge ScanArm: An articulated arm metrology unit capable of laser measurements, as well as traditional touch-probe measurements. ###Demonstration Condition: Great results despite the non-ideal environment (meeting room table shaky and unstable in terms of coordinate measurement metrology standards - typically a secured granite inspection surface is used) Quick demonstration Low resolution settings Presence / involvement of attendees / first time users Exported as XYZ data from Polyworks Cleaning and surface reconstruction done in Meshlab ###Outputs: Raw scalar data stored and shared for posterity & modelling Models (vector data) shared for learning & interaction (simplified model can be interacted with online on Sketchfab) The raw XYZ data is available here: https://skfb.ly/KSzS
