Asset Overview

This is a part of a saw from the IAN314799 Powerfix Profi+. This specific part is used for holding the saw in place in its frame from the front. It was modeled in Tinkercad. The model is intended for 3D printing, the legnth is 26mm, the width is 8mm, and the height is 9mm (in horizontal orientation). From my experience, it's best to print with an infill of 100% with PLA, but it may be lower with tougher materials. For me, the print time was around half an hour. I couldn't get precise enough measurements, so when it's printed out it won't fit into the hole and you do have to sand it down a bit. If someone has a more precise meter, I'll be more than happy to update the page. I don't know how tougher materials stack up, but when printing with PLA, you mustn't turn the screw on the other side of the frame too much, otherwise a part will snap off.
