Apple of the variety Cripps Pink. Medium to large-fruited apple variety with purple-red skin with yellow-green parts has creamy-white, firm and rather sweet flesh. Apples of the Cripps Pink variety are predominantly marketed under the Pink Lady brand name. Cripps Pink was created in Australia in 1973 as part of a government breeding program by crossing the Lady Williams and Golden Delicious varieties.
